The Menzies Aviation Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership, instruction and guidance for all operational and maintenance requirements for the Military Support Services operation (including fuel storage and fuel distribution system).
Key Responsibilities
Reviews reports and records to ascertain data required for planning routine maintenance (RM) operations
Revise and implement all quality assurance procedures as necessary insuring all system test frequencies meet or exceed Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) requirements
Investigate and adjust customer complaints and concerns regarding routine maintenance program.
Diagnose problems using test equipment, statistical, equipment history, manufactures specifications, industry related standards and blueprints
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain related components such as: pumps, valves, vessels, hydrant pits, gauges, switches, motors, lights, heaters, meters, hoses, etc
Monitors and assesses all fuel system requirements and ensures workers and equipment are available when and where they are needed
Maintain effective relations with customers
Investigate causes of accidents/incidents and recommends safety measures for preventing further occurrences
Direct involvement in budgetary process for Military Contracts
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Routine Maintenance group
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or five to ten years related Aviation Fuel Maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Possess and maintains a valid driver’s license and other Military required identifications/seals or authorizations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Prior aviation experience is desirable.
Proficient with programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.
