POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment or systems while delivering excellent customer service. This role requires technical ability, critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities Include:

* Install, troubleshooting, and repair equipment or systems according to company and warranty standards.
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the best performance.
* Assemble, test, and transport machines and materials as needed.
* Diagnose technical issues and find proper solutions.
* Maintain correct records of service calls, repairs and parts used.
* Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and solutions.
* Provide feedback to improve services processes and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Follow safety procedures, complete HR/OSHA training, and support a clean and organized workspace.
* Promote a positive attitude and work habits; promote a safer work environment and safer work habits; work with other team members in a positive and initiative-taking manner.
* Added duties or special projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Technical certification or associate degree

* Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role
* Strong mechanical, electrical, or IT skills (depending on industry)
* Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, or schematics.
* Excellent problems solving skills, communication skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs (often up to 100lbs with assistance)
* Ability to walk, climb, kneel, stoop, and balance throughout shift.
* Ability to work in a demanding environment and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work overtime (as needed)
* Equipment certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
* Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Compensation & Benefits:

The pay range for this role is $25.00-$28.00/hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
