Utility Service Positions Available

RECONN is a leader in the utility industry, concentrating on quality and safety. We have full-time Vacuum Excavation Technician (Non-CDL) and Vacuum Excavation Technician (CDL) positions available in Houston, TX. Starting pay is $25.00/hr. for new Non-CDL technicians, up to $30.00/hr. for those with substantial prior experience. Starting pay is $30.00/hr. for new CDL technicians, up to $35.00/hr. for those with substantial prior experience.

What We Need from You (Our Requirements – Non-CDL):

• Previous vacuum excavation experience preferred
• Previous road machine operator or hydro-vac experience preferred
• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Previous outdoor experience is a plus
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners. Customer service experience is a plus
• Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position)
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required

 What We Need from You (Our Requirements – CDL):

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required; CDL position requires an A or B CDL
• Must currently possess or have the ability to possess a DOT medical card for all positions
• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Previous outdoor experience is a plus
